An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.
A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.
These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later released.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.
The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
